Right one well may have started as telco but a good chunk of the back side is missing

On the middle board i believe the round battery is still in its socket??
If so please remove it.

Nope, that's an aluminium capacitor. ;)

Boards like this won't have individual batteries beyond on the memory cards because they subsist on the pdm.
