 Post subject: Motherboard Sorting

Do I have these categorized correctly, and is there anything I should do to these boards besides remove the battery, heatsink and CPU chip? I am posting front and back pictures with what I think that they are categorized as. Thank you for your help!

Yep. Great.
Those giant bracket backs need to be removed, the screws are under the squishy plastic in the 4 corners of the sockets.

I have found that a pair of wire cutters or nippers will work in popping the plastic screws holding those brackets in place. Most of those brackets I have seen are steel and can go in your shred or heavy melt pile.

Yes the vast majority of back plates are steel. Check with a magnet. If it doesn't stick scratch it, probably copper.

You should get light iron for the steel ones though, not shred.
