It's a cpu. Nothing special or different other than the design.
No sense in drilling it. There's nothing proprietary or confidential in it.

In all honesty you don't really need to be scratching the design numbers off those other CPUs and ICs either.
Unless you're concerned someone may find out where the cpu was originally manufactured, ;)

If you look up the number can you trace back where they came from that is what I am concerned about. I don't want them tracked back to the owner, I can personally email you one and you can tell me what you think.
