if you don't mind me asking how that one qualifies for peripheral it being small ?

Without the plate you could cut the wire along the edge of the leg bondings and have an IC. With the plate, down goes the price, down to peripheral. I've never had a problem tossing them in my peripheral batch as I knew it wouldn't get a "clean" IC rate.

this is correct... my apologies. I missed that the one was a chip...i thought it was black plastic from a connector.
