I've been having a little trouble finding info on IC chips in the forums.

The price list has entries for plain IC Chips ($8) and Gold Cap and Leg 8086 ($175), but I've found a few variations that seem like they may fall somewhere in between.

Just in these photos we've got:

-gold cap+leg
-gold cap+leg PLUS gold underside
-plastic with gold leg
-gold leg with a little octopus on top
-gold cap + silver leg
-silver leg ceramic
no idea what #11 is

Any insights on where these oddballs fall in the scheme of things?

#1 I would submit as Connector Ends.
#2,3,7,8 Gold Cap Gold Leg Ceramic
#5,9 Gold Cap NO Gold Leg Ceramic IC
#4,6 Plastic IC chip with Gold Legs
#10 DIP Resistor Pack. It is not an IC
#11 It uses BGA connection. But. Unsure if it is an IC. Need to see part number.

1, with the component soldered on it might impact things ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

5,9 should say gold cap no gold legs

11, likely a flat pack or BGA no gold tab

#11 Most likely BGA. No gold tab. I was hoping to see the part number. Or. Even better. Cut that metal off. And lets see if a die is in there. Just a curious.
