Thank you all for the responses. I have been successful in the past getting the heat sinks, mosfits, capacitors and even the IC chips off of these. The coating is fairly easy to get through, I was just curious if anyone had a trick to get the entire coating off in hopes of it increasing the grading of the board. Nonetheless, I think we are all on the same page, get what I can and throw it in the low grade pile.

On those boards we would depopulate the mosfets, heat sinks, & capacitors. Then they would go in my mid/low box. I would not send them to boardsort via mail as I am in NJ.
Those mid/low boards would be going when I make a trip if I don't find a buyer for mid/low locally.
Yup, I have not sent in anything to Boardsort. We have family that live in Ohio so on our next trip, we plan on swinging by to drop off our cache.

That likely won’t make high peripheral. Not from my experience.
Depending on what’s under the sink, you may make midgrade or low peripheral without the sealer
Appreciate the response. I think we are all on the same page, depopulate what I can and call it a day.
