Do these flex boards go as anything? I have some that came out of the back of drawing touchpad/touchscreen-type devices and monitors.

You may want to email Chris but I believe, and I could be wrong, that all touchpads were high peripheral; at least from laptops.

Hopefully others can chime in as I am still a noob at grading.

I thought so too if it had the gold strips or whatever they are called. @Merkman what does the other side look like?

No. It feels like flexible plastic. Had heavy aluminum foil over it

Other side looks the same. I wouldn’t say the board looks particularly interesting or valuable but they have the gold ribbon connectors attached to them so there must be something I can’t see

High peripheral seems unlikely for this. Depending on the board I could see a range from low grade to low peripheral. I assume there's no population, aside from what's left of the ribbon cable? If you removed the yellow tape you might be able to tell if there was gold there or not; making it mid or low grade respectively. Then if you knew what metal(s) the tracings were you might be able to jump up a grade.

If there were ICs or visible gold we're not seeing here that would likely make a difference

It’s blank - but it looks like the circles at the end of the traces are gold (hard to get a proper photo)

Gold would drop the low grade possibility, not that there's a price difference going to mid. So mid or low peripheral in my opinion. Again (a more knowledge person may know), what the tracings are could bump the range up to low or high peripheral, but that's where I'm at.
