I have some bigger bits of brass that I wanted to send in to board sort with my next shipment, Does the brass I send in need to be 100% clean or can it have solder, paint and bits of copper on it? think brass fittings with a bit a copper pipe soldered to it and the likes.

Thanks !

I may not remember the percentages correctly but I think common practice is brass can be called clean brass as long as it's 85% brass by weight.

I always shoot for 100% personally but it's nice to know I don't have to be perfect with it.

yeah I did not see clean brass in the category so that's why I asked. most of what I have is 90ish % brass. so I'm likely good.
