Hello. I am new to these things. I have a collection of these parts shown in the picture but I am not sure if all of them are useful to boardsort or not.I numbered them on the picture and I want someone to help me categorizing them seprately or cetegorizing them as one.
Thank you

1, 5 and 7 go in shred, but might be brass if you're willing to cut the brass out of them, 14 is junk if you can't get the brass tabs out of it. 8 could be connector but I can't tell, 2 might be connector end but I do know those IDE to USB thingy can have a good bit of PCB in them so IDK about that, the rest likely would go as connector end if they have gold pins.

shred aka toss in in with your iron/steel. there no gold in 1, 5 and 7 from the looks of the photo, they could be brass tho. if they are magnetic toss then in shred/iron pile, if they're not not magnetic take a file to them, scrape them or sand them and see if they are brass, if they're brass you can ether toss them in dirty brass as is or take the time to pull the brass out of them.

A picture like this doesn't really help, only two of those connector ends have any visible gold.

All of them could technically have gold but 7/11/14 very likely do not. 1/13 probably don't. 2 should have a peripheral board in it.

9/12 are the two with clearly visible gold.

The rest you need to look at the pins and see if there's gold visible or not.

the more I look at it I wonder if 13 is just rusty and corroded.

That outside metal could have a light flashing I guess. Looks like the rust isn't all over, more like where there's wear, which I guess technically means there's gold there if that's right.
