Two different board types here. Ai said the bottom two with slots are backplane expansion boards but these have gold fingers? The top one has gold fingers but the board is a lot longer and i want to make sure it doesn't get me downgraded.

Are the slot sockets all gold contact? If they are. Then all your boards can evaluate at Gold Finger Card. This is something I am recently understanding. Its a gray area. For me. Somewhat? But. I have seen enough forum posts. To recommend. All your boards should be paid out Gold Finger Card. If they are not? Backplane. I am referring to the boards with the slots. The other one in your pictures. Gold Finger Card.

Thank you. They do have gold fingers, rather large ones even. Im not familiar with these boards so I wanted to make sure so I dont get my whole shipment downgraded.

Most dual slot type risers will go as gold finger card. They’re IDE and PCI often using an MCA or EIDE finger. They’re used in minicomputers and rack servers.

The other is I believe a modem but I could be off.
