Would this one be graded as low telecom?
Nothing on the bottom.
Does the grade change if I remove the mosfets?

Low Telco seems right to me.

There's just the 4 socketed? If you choose to remove it'll probably be okay still

LindyLou. I have to bring this up. When you mentioned MOSFETS. Yes? You were referring to the output transistor driver array. 32 of them. No? That's a driver board of sorts. Waiting for your post. Also. Do you know what you really have there. Ever hear of ThyssenKrupp? Thats the company that eventually ended up with Dover Elevator. [Well respected American company]. You got a Dover Elevator board before the sell out. That board could very well be worth way money. Why. Dover Elevator designs even after the buy out didn't change. I guess the Germans knew. "If it ain't broke. Don't fix it." As a tip. Do some research on that Dover Board. I don't see any signs of burnt out components. The electrolytics are swelling. That is normal. Look on Ebay. Also. There are companies 100% dedicated to elevator repair.

Dear Catwhisker,
I am a hobby dumpster scavenger, started last spring. There is an elevator repair company dumpster on my route. I have found a fortune in parts, boards, motors variable breaking resistors, relays, contacts, coils, etc, etc. I have contacted some companies, but nobody wants to pull the trigger.Maybe liability issues. If I scrap the material at least it stays out of the landfill . I see lots of Beautiful German engineering in that dumpster. I have learned so much from it!

Thanks for the discussion,
LindyLou,the pirate-Mangler

I get it. You can't lose on the escrapping. But my question on Elevator 2. You were referring to removing the MOSFET output drivers. This question is about evaluation Elevator 2. I am new at this escrapping. I may have a wealth of electronic tech experience. But. I am a novice escrapper also.

I'm leaning on the lower level of High Tel, also because of the age of components.

It has a low profile with some odds n ends not particularly in High Tel but I think it can fly. Leave the Mosfets, they're copper bearing and some are considered ICs because they have a controller die inside.

Catwhisker,
I was just interested in harvesting the no. 2 copper on the mosfets.
$4/lb. Now that I am thinking about it: higher return leaving on.

Lol, mosfet didn't click for me until now xD. Not sure how I missed those.

I don't usually remove those intentionally but if they come off I separate them for the copper.
