Found this one naked and alone in the dumpster. No idea what it came from. It had one small ram stick on the upper right. Is it some type of mother board?

Mobo was my first reaction too but it's also making me think high end copy machine.

I'll see if any of the numbers pull up anything in a minute

That is the Main or System Printer Board for Toshiba studio. Is it a Motherboard? Well. Yes. Sort of. See. Labeling boards is subjective to the manufacturer. I could easily look at that board and call it. An Industrial Controller. A Main Controller Board. A Motherboard. A System Controller. So. Using Boardsort category standards from the Escrap price list. It doesn't fit the Motherboard categories. Except possibly one motherboard category. What would that be? Answer. Laptop Motherboard. Now. If you look at all the other Boardsort Motherboard categories. You will see those beautiful gold contact slot connectors. Laptop Computer Boards do not have that type of slot connector. Your board looks suspiciously like a Laptop Board. But. It is not. Under Boardsort standards. View the Laptop Motherboard video. Now I shared all that. Cause I agree with your intution. Is that a motherboard? You could email Chris. Get an evaluation. I posted also to emphasize the incredible number of manufactured boards through the years. And how they are named by manufacturers. How futile it can be to evaluate by function. Evaluating a board in a category is more on value in the board not on function. Though it helps. It's more recognizing component density. Type of component. Year of manufacture. Gold connector content. Tantalums? And of course. Junk on the board. So. My evaluation. Of your board. High Peripheral. But. Email Chris. I would like to know myself
I know I said a lot. But I have been in electronics since 1972. The industry constantly is evolving. Escrap is my new interest.
Here to learn like everybody else.
