That some kind of display panel?

I could see a range from high peripheral to high Telco...

Lots of chips and some gold pins. What are the "buttons" around the edge though? Steel, brass, something else? On the other side, LEDs? Is there a layer of plastic over them?

Maybe someone else has seen that kind of board before and can provide a narrower assessment.

Never seen the board myself.
But. CHIPONE chips are used in LED displays.
Drivers etc.
Those buttons mostly likely are voltage contact points. Probably brass.
Me personally.
I would submit them to Boardsort as High Peripheral. The only reason not High Telecom. I see no real gold as compared to heavy gold edge connectors etc.
Yes. Mark141. Those are small LEDS on the back side.
I would like to know where Gmacbones got those boards from.
My guess. A large LED display.
So. Gmacbones. Do you know what they came from?
I am here to learn.

Those are led sign panels. The round things are magnets to hold them in place. I have been sending them as high peripheral with no downgrades. Be sure to remove the magnets and any rubber seals that might be around the edges.

Neat!

Magnets make sense.

I guessed at voltage points for the simple fact that the letter V is a common letter designation for Voltage test point on a PCB and also its accompanying schematic diagram. Having said that. It was interesting seeing such a large "test point". Unusual.
But. In the high tech world. It's always something new. Magnets!!! I would love to see those boards installed in thier mounts.

Should we be able to read the machine info?

The magnets are labeled V for voltage check or tests. Does the power come from the magnets through the board? I'm assuming it does. That's neat. What a cool design, click in and out with different programming.

It’s just generic data. Doesn’t mean anything

No they are just magnets to hold each panel in place, snug against each other. The panels I deal with have an in and an out connector and are daisy chained with ribbon cables. There will be an output board that controls 3-5 panels. It gets a video feed over cat 5 from a main controller.

The ones we use are flexible thus the clean finish on a round sign
