I have a question, are these classified as gold connector ends, or are the classified as gold fingers? And if they are considered gold connector ends, do I leave them as is?

These are gold connector ends, I would send them as is. The very tip of the connector might classify as gold fingers, but I'm not sure if there is enough gold plating to make that class.

For reference gold fingers will be just the visible gold part after it's been trimmed from a board. These are almost always from expansion cards, like PCI cards, and sometimes from other boards with a similar interface. The thickness of gold matters for gold fingers to get that classification, which is why they mostly come from one type of board with a known amount of gold.

Connector ends is definitely the easier way to go on these. You don't have to trim the fingers off and you don't have to worry about whether they would actually be okay as gold fingers.
