I have a 25 pound crate of what would go as backplane expansion board, HONEYWELL, except the slots are showing chrome colored instead of gold. However, there is light gold flashing on the lower half of and inside the channel of the fingers. Will post photo when I get cell signal.
Hey, guess this is a good time to find out how smart Oscar is. I bet he skipped class the day they taught "not backplane".

haven't figured out yet what a backplane board (all slots, no population, no junk)) is, if the slots are not distinctly gold plated.

Post a photo, but generally these will go as high peripheral

I may have been over analyzing from the video, as it showed all the small mixecduse boards which also had the two required card expansion slots when it said, must have gold slots. However, I would be happy with high peripheral on these.

Unfortunately, that board has nothing going for it except tin value my guess is probably midgrade based on the picture

So that means $12 instead of $100 for the 25 pounds. That $12 will get the load 75 miles closer to delivery. And with an empty van, I will have plenty of room to collect KY Geodes on the way back south. Thanks for disillusioning me before I got there

O.S.C.A.R and I had coffee this morning, and I happened to have a picture of the wanna-be backplane without the gold flashed slots (some very faint gold "flush" (not enough to count as flash. Oscar wasn't fully awake yet, or else he was dazzled by all those loaded boards he stayed up late last night identifying, as you guys kept sending pictures of boards showing all their attributes.
As expected, Oscar wanted to call it a backplane, since it looks like a backplane, lies like a backplane, but unfortunately, it doesn't quack like a backplane
