HI, i'm new here and wanting to try out the scrap hustle.

I do relatively low volumes of scrap per year, and can deal with most of the parts locally. Sadly, being in CA(greater sf-bay), I can only find places that want money to dispose of "E-waste"

right now i have a few hundred pounds of mixed PCBs, and i plan to deal with in future, but today's question is about POS barcode scanners / hand held computers.

I have about 35 pounds (70-80 units) of Symbol pocket Pcs. Will BoardSort buy them whole? is it worth my time to try to break them down? i've taken one apart and its doable but not very fast.

What do ya'll think?

I would email Chris and ask if these are acceptable as handheld keyboard scanners, and if not, maybe as smartphones. If they are, you will most likely make more selling them whole with no battery than taking them apart.
