I would put all but your computer power cords into this category. The power cords I would check with your local scrap yards to see how much copper recovery is in them and see if that price compares to what boardsort is paying for mixed wire. If you have wire stripping tools, you can strip out the copper from power cords and sell it as #2 copper. I've done several power cords and from the cords that I have stripped, you get anywhere from one to three ounces of copper. Variables here are the length of the cable and the thickness of the individual strands inside the outer insulation.
