Peripheral

Backplane requires very specific pin sockets and a minimum quantity of them.
Here we have ICs and no excessive (parallel, vga etc) metal, keeping it peripheral and not gold pin connector. But below the requirements for backplane

Nope. Just 1 IC. And small at that. It may ever so slightly make it to mid, but I doubt it.


Gold finger requires more than just the fingers. Here the op could probably get away with trimming them and still get peripheral. But there’s far less than gold finger class requires.

To avoid complication, I'll just throw them in the peripheral box and move onto the next thing.

The mid/low stuff I send to the scrap yard as Light Iron.
