This is my first post on this forum and would appreciate any suggestions on how to classify this Compaq board. It looks like a motherboard but I couldn't find anything similar on the site to verify. Thanks.

Thanks for the education, but I didn't scrap a server. These boards were in a box of circuit boards that was given to me to send to Boardsort by the non-profit that I volunteer with. I will pass this info on to them.

I am just trying to learn what it is so I can maximize the return for the charities that we support.

Austin has experience in refurbishing and reselling so he'll definitely point out a board with resell value if he recognizes it, so if the board appears to be intact you might explore listing it on ebay or somewhere else.

As far as scrap, are there any components on the back? Is the board fairly heavy (compared to a similar sized board)?

I appreciate the input to let me know that the board has more than scrap value but would like to avoid selling any computer parts on eBay because I couldn't answer any technical questions about the hardware. As you can see from the photo, there is very little on the back. Thanks for the reply.
