I’m only going to say my methodology to this. It’s a big IF in every possible way!
I trust my tools and keep them very very well. So: I would cut the edge with the relays off. Score the board with a knife Making an initial cut with a small mail and bolt cutter Then use a set of reinforced shears to make the cut.
But to be blunt, I know what I’m doing with Mercury, how to deal with it if a problem occurs. And the kit to clean it up in case of an accidental leak.
So read up on how to handle that stuff.
