This board is out of a VERY very Old stereo that I took out because the unit was falling apart plus i wanted to examine it (things tend to "break" more often since I started doing this.)

Question is...what is it and is anything more valuable on this board than say a modern board? Should I strip anything or leave it intact.

From boardsort; you're looking at low grade; officially, though you could probably get away with midgrade on this and something maybe a bit off grade in person.
Most large recycling yards that take a range of escrap will give you full CBM rate at 50c-$1 depending on if 3 or 4 levels of the grade.

That said; you've got some better than low grade stuff there, and these are quite easy to strip
Large aluminium canister capacitors al#3
Silver switches (relays the square ones) at Ag#4
Silver and nickel couplers
Copper
Organic capacitors, ceramic resistors, insulated copper, some nickel and solver rod wires, silver pegs, bronze screws, sealed copper thread; etc.
