This came out of a small inkjet photo printer. I'm not sure what pile to put it in, if any.

Top, cut the finger and put it in gold fingers. Rest goes in wire. The edge connection is real gold but those dot connectors are a gold copper blend thats actually a high grade brass. Mostly being copper with some nickel and a tiny bit of gold.
Roughly give/take about 2-4kt. depending on which factory. Malaysia has the highest content I've seen and Taiwan the lowest.

If you go through the trouble to remove them you MAY get a gold pin quote but i find it an exercise in futility. You'll need a few thousand dots to reach an ounce. Do 10s, 1/10 is $8 and thats a few hundred dots so not worth it for less than 80¢
That style ribbon is used by hp, ibm, Kodak, and a few others. No difference between brands, all from the same factories.

Bottom. As is is probably good for telco. remove the blocks and you've got pin board. Dependent on gold purity and content may be more, or less than telco. Decision is uo to you which way to go.
