So I contacted a guy online that has 31 HP Chromebooks for sale. Only thing he says about them is that they are in need of batteries for most of them. He's asking $200 for all 31 laptops...
Think I'd still make money scrapping these out or is that just way too much to spend for them?
I know I'd basically have between 31-62 of them half size RAM (or might be the M.2 sticks) and then all the motherboards.. i just dont know what weights are for individual items to be able to rough out some math myself.

Thanks for any input y'all can provide me. I'm thinking of offering the guy $125-$150 but feeling like that may be too much also.

:/

If they worry that’s money. Batteries cost about $20 in bulk packs.
These usually flip for 50-150 depending on specs.

If they partly work but are trashed, assuming the ram is removable and the wifi card is removable you’re still in the $15-30 range on parts.

If they don’t work, you’re looking at about $5-$10 per netbook in scrap, on the better side. But as low as $2-5.

Honestly it depends on what exact Chromebooks you are buying. Some are full real world laptops. Others are single board units with nothing removable. Some or not much more than a literal tablet board with a bunch of wires plugged into screwed-down ports.

I believe the seller told me they were all from 2021 and that they all are completely intact and should work if supplied power. He says he hasn't removed anything from them.
