Anyone here sent whole laptops through freight shipping? As I understand it boardsort requires battery to be in them to be complete and a box with complete laptops on a pallet load would require hazmat on the BOL. Like to get an idea of what kind of extra work and charges that will require or if i should just keep stripping them?.

umm they require the battery to be in them??? who told you that? get the batteries out of them. if they are lipo aka the soft soft kind inside the laptop I would leave them be, if you are going through the trouble of removing those then you might as well strip the whole laptop.

Just got confirmation from Chris that the battery must be in them to be considered whole. If removed they are considered partial or incomplete

Lostinlodos any experience shipping them frieght with the batteries in? Don't get enough for a pallet and I don't really want to have to do hazmat for just a box or two on a pallet.
