Would all of these be considered connector ends

That top silver box may be something else.

Rest should be okay in connector ends.

I would note, several of these appear to be off boards and look to have a decent plating and may have provided significant value to the board they were on, by removing those boards may have their grade affected.

I created a post on May 20th about id'ing possibly "ancient RAM". "Catwhisker replied and suggested that it may be worth cutting off the end for connector end and submitting as trimmed card ($19.50/lb) as opposed as high telco ($11/lb). Actually, you and Austin86 replied and seemed to think that was a good idea as well since everyone seemed a little stumped on how to classify, lol. But I can see how you would not recall as I've seen how many posts you reply to. To note, I sincerely appreciate all your feedback, advice, and responses in general.

I always err on the side of, don't cut/remove anything unless you're certain it'll be a benefit. Low and midgrade boards are easier and removing steel is always good but once you get into peripheral it's gets much more nuanced especially as you go into higher grade material and non standard items.

As far as the RAM if it's just one or two boards it will probably be fine as Cat suggested but I stand by the advice I gave, primarily because it is non standard RAM and may not qualify as RAM at all. If it does qualify as some grade of RAM with the pins, then removing them just downgraded the pins from a RAM grade to connector ends and may have affected the rest of the RAM as well.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
