First Image #1 is from a Motorola Radio board. Pretty sure it's HG Telco. The metal is soldered to the board. Are we still required to remove the metal if its soldered?

Second image #2 is front and back of a item that looks like ram but wasn't sure if this would qualify as Gold Fingered Ram?

Thanks in advance for your input.

#1 board I would remove the shielding and the heat sink. I would probably remove the 2 jacks. Before sending in. Could be High Telecom. Good chance. Got to see what's under that shielding though.
#2 board. That is not a RAM board. It is a form of controller board. I give it High Peripheral. Not one RAM chip on it. See all those diodes and fuses(F1 thru F24). Thats a clue. It is just using a board similiar to RAM.
Here to learn like everybody else.

The power sine logo and the components remind me of a voltage regulator.

The fingers look copper in the image, if that's the case I lean a bit more towards low peripheral but it could be high.
