This was my first time sending CPUs in for the tested buying program.

I sent them along with a scrap shipment (but packaged separately, protected, and with the corresponding packing slip.

I’ve received the payout notice - but no mention of the CPUs invoice.

Does anyone know if there’s normally a delay for processing those?


And before anyone asked, the scrap payout doesn’t include any value for failed chips - so just seems to be MIA altogether

Correct they should be on a separate schedule for Boardsort to complete testing and then payout based on the results.

Took about a week between invoices the last time I did that.

normally in 3 days to a week you will get a email about the test and buy cpus

This is normal. We opted for a check and the check came once testing was completed. The check included the scrap and testing CPU price.

It’s been 12 days and I haven’t heard anything about the CPUs.

Normal? Concerning?

there was an off week for payment and it can take up to 2 weeks if you sent a lot of CPUs and depending on when they get/test them. but shoot Chris a email to find out whats going on.

Still haven’t received notification of receipt/processing. Been 18 days since everything else completed processing and payout.

And Chris hasn’t replied to my email inquiring.

Wish someone else was more responsive to email….but then I guess we’d get paid out less :-)

Called them. Said they were on vacation last week and had email auto responder on (never got such an auto response, however). basically they are behind but the timeline is what’s expected even though it’s been like a month.

yeah they were off not long ago. Sometimes test can buy can take 2 or so weeks, add the one week off... should be getting the funds soon I hope. I know when I send in lga 2011/2066 or a lot of low value CPUs they take longer to test them too
