Almost all yards in Ohio, will still take these as clean AL, or clean AL extrusion. You can get AL clip or MLC for these too, which is higher AL per lb priced materials. That coating is an anodized coat. Gives it resistance. Painted is different and lower price usually. An easy way to determine either or, scratch it. Paint flakes and chips, it's paint, if it just scores or rolls AL pieces, it's anodized; it also makes like a " fingers on chalk board noise", when scratched, it's anodized.
CU, ones you can easily identify by the weight too, especially comparing to an AL one in the other hand.
