Looking for comments on pictured items.
According to O.S.C.A.R. All items are gold plated pins. As one can see.
There are a variety of I. C. Sockets. Then. Clean gold plated pins.
So. The question. With an eye toward selling to boardsort. Clean versus unclean.
One sees no upgrade.
Makes sense. Explains the blue box next to the escrap price.
But. Are those I.C.sockets really graded gold plated pins?
Again. I am skewed to selling to boardsort.

With the plastic I expect the sockets are connector ends.

I haven't checked to see if this will make any difference but I've been trying to separate big connectors with plastic and metal from smaller connectors that are just a little bit of plastic or if I have a lot of a single type of connector. That way whenever I send them in, if there's any extra value Boardsort can make that determination and maybe pay better for them. That's all to say, if you have a lot of those IC sockets, you may want Boardsort to look at them to see if they can get a better price, especially if the gold plating is heavier.
