Does this switch (or dial) have a gold covered plate or brass thing inside? Shown disassembled below. This board is from a 90s era sound system rack product's for live professional concerts.
It's a Peripheral grade board. Should I pull off switch before shipping to Boardsort? If so, should I toss the switch in trash or pry out the gold square (if gold) to keep?
