I have a pile of boards out of old 3COM networking devices and I was trying to decide if it is worth the shipping cost to send them in. Should I pop the removable IC's and send separate?

I will have more picture and questions as I get into the equipment.
Thanks in advance, I really appreciate the help.

Probably gonna have to remove those brackets, but from what I can tell, possibly low telecom. But let Marked or Lost take a look.

That's what I was thinking. I figured the brackets would have to come off along with the batteries.

Brackets, batteries and Dallas RTCs. The board in the third picture has a Dallas RTC. The board in the second picture could be a gold cap chip board.

You're at least at low telco if you clean them up as described already by others. I'm leaning high telco on most of them (4 & 5 I think stay low telco)

The gold cap chip if it's socketed you might pull it out to look and see what's on the other side, just for curiosity sake. If you leave it on it'll increase the grade of the entire board and likely be better scrap wise.
