 Post subject: identifiction

I have several circuit boards that are from televisions and dvd players i assume they are low grade is it better to remove the large capacitors or leave them on also how does one upload pics for thisd forum one of the boards i have is black the rest ar brown

Computer dvd boards have their own category and Most consumer disc player boards go peripheral

tube tv boards are low grade.

Shipping low grade boards is an exercise in lost revenue.
Look for a local yard that buys them.
And low/mid grade boards i tend to break down... personally.
Transformers are coper baring material (cbm)
running 25-45c a pound.

the capacitors are mostly aluminium and i put them in my #2 aluminium bin. 20-40c/lb
Black wrapped caps with orange or red tops are cbm.
Use a box cutter or razor knife to remove any ic chips to sens to Boardsort.
Whatever is left (brown board) is usually purchased as steel shred and/or heavy breakage running 2-12c a pound.
