Looks like the second board came from some HP Proliant server, that is where I see those sorts of cards. But the rest of the boards I have no idea.

The first 4 are risers from a 2u or 4u rack compatible system

lost he would but those all under the clean gold finger rate..

the class grades for gfc seem to have more to do with heatsinks/fans and the bracket then population at the moment ...

Hello EVILRICK,
Actually I would be comfortable buying those all as the Clean Finger
card with No bracket which is paying $4.25/lb currently.

Thanks. As always being under is better than being over.

This is going to be a while till we all figure it out. Including Chris.
A few weeks back he graded a processor board riser (very close to the top one) as green small socket so I’m trying to stay in the boundaries of what I can deduce.
I haven’t sent the new classes myself so I’m playing by sight, not practice.

Lost,
Are you referring to this board?

As to Chris he’ll tell you himself as soon as you have seen it all you find something new.

Yes that: Among others recently.
But there was one I asked on that had fingers.

The top board has a PGA socket, just missing the plastic. Top left. Even well marked as such. Socket 370

So for me, and as such grading, the question becomes at what point does a small riser with small connectors being a motherboard jump to finger card classes. And when to draw the line between too much board (low) and not too much board (standard).
I have a few piles I’m prepping for a shipment of extreme edge cases (sorry for pun). We’ll see how much gets moved around.

Once that’s settled I’ll be more consistent and concise in splitting the new classes.
Such as what to do with low end M2. Low/high telco limit tests. Can a hard disk controller be shrunk so small it becomes high telco despite still having everything for hard disk board?
We’ll find out in the next exciting episode... oh. Oops.
You get the point.
