New to site, been doing escrap for 30 years. I've been setting these aside for years.

these are pretty much all from IBM midrange equipment, is there a general category for these or will they need to be more closely examined?

older ram(some from the 70's), etc. All have gold pins.

digital cpu's and other misc. tried to take pic so that you can tell which have gold pins

White square CPUs:
No pins no cap. Pinless

No pins gold cap. Sun CPU

Gold pins no cap. Pentium/Mac ceramic

gold pins and gold cap Motorola/foreign gold cap

Rectangles:
Gold pins gold cap shorter than a pentium chip. 8086

Gold pins gold caps on both sides longer than one pentium shorter than two. Motorola foreign gold cap

Gold pins gold caps longer than two pentiums. Post individual photos

Gold pins gold caps double wide. Pentium pro gold cap

Gold pins no caps. Ibm/via

Gold pins silver or nickel cap. Ibm/via

Silver, nickel, tin pins gold cap. Post individual photos

Silver, nickel, tin pins no cap. IC
