I’ve found that the grip plastic slides off very easily, long before the pliers fail.
Unfortunately: the stacked layer design of the handles lead to shredding gloves, and hands; without the protective grips.
It’s also not fun for you or your equipment to slip out of the players while in a tight space.
Finally; where there’s one problem; there’s often more.
