A year or so ago, I was given several boxes of new/unused LCD displays. I'm just now getting to these as they are taking up space.
Prior to me getting them however, they were stored for several years in a storage unit that was not temperature controlled. As such, they were subjected to the low temperatures seen here in Northern Virginia.
Quite a number of the displays looked pretty bad after I unwrapped them, so I removed the damaged displays from the boards.
I was wondering what they might be classified as.
I have a question concerning the remaining LCD displays. I do not have the equipment to test them, and really don't want to attempt to sell a potentially bad product and deal with the blow back from that. I'd just as soon scrap them and that's what I plan to do.
Am I better off leaving the glass, LCD display attached to the board and submitting them to Boardsort? If so, what then would they be classified as?
There are also two boards I'm not sure what to do with. One is a numerical keypad, the other is also a alpha-numerical keypad after the buttons have been removed. Not sure how they're classified.
Thank you,
RustyFuryIII
