Running a recycling center is a challenging business when it comes to working with people. He is not the first, nor the last person to think behaving in such a way will change the outcome. It will not. We will continue to do what we do which is be the most transparent buyer we can be. My email is overwhelmed and inefficient. with questions during normal business hours. I am sorry that I can only take 1 call at a time. Keep trying. But the notion that I am missing in action, or ignoring customers or not paying people is preposterous. None of that is true. What is true is that we are very busy serving many satisfied customers, all of which we have strived to satisfy in every way.
having owned bussinesses all my life, i have come to several conclusions.
non of what i am about to say applies to government, but thats a story not for here.
1. all bussinessesses depend on customers.
2. my belief that i have lived by is, ''comunication is key to success''
3. in all, be honest and truthfull, and you'll never have to make up stories to cover your lies.
it seems Chris/Boardsort has 1 and 3 down pat, so much so that i need to cast review on #2.
so busy with customers that he is overwhelmed. '' My email is overwhelmed and inefficient. ''. evidently!
''As an alternative I provide a phone number to call me''. major bottleneck here as for 2 weeks, as none here have gotten thru to him for 2 weeks.
no bussiness of mine, but why not have front office help to take care of most questions and emails, leaving Chris to do what he does best. Answer toughest questions and run his shop. He is quite good at the shop part. you don'y expand like he recently has if you arn't good in the shop and have an abundance of customers.
I believe a competent knowledgble person up front, doing the grunt work, would go a long way to help Boardsort/Chris to keep up with his expansion.
just sayin...
carry on!
