I have shipped to boardsort once or twice in the past few years and let me tell you that its a very seamless process. Make sure you do your due diligence and be fair with your evaluations on what you have and everything goes great.

One thing I have done which worked well was shipping 5-6 boxes at the same time with identical itineraries in each one to let them know the total order involves X amount of boxes, what each boxes claimed weight is and what the box includes.

For your best results IMO, if you mail in, make sure each box is likeminded materials only. That means a box only contains one category of boards. No soup for Boardsort.

I have done payment by check in the mail and also Paypal with both working flawlessly from the Boardsort crew.

My next order is already coming along and I am thinking about making the drive to the facility myself once I have enough to make everyone happy.

Thanks for everything you do!

All I do is mail in. All my experiences are extremely satisfactory. I'm glad Boardsort exists. The stuff I had was heading to the street curb. Until I went on the internet researching some antique electronic components I thought to sell on Ebay. Then I stumbled on Boardsort and of course a lot of other escrap buyers. The Boardsort escrap price list was relatively easy to understand. Also. This very forum helps immensely. In addition one can email Chris and get an answer. It was easy to learn and get started. The word here is convenient. I live near Pittsburgh. Alliance is about a 6 hour drive. If it was my younger days. I would definately take a trip to the faciluty just see the place. But. I'm up in age. Mailing stuff in is just fine and keeps me having something to do. I am not your regular street scraper. Just getting rid of a hoard. Though I do see "the electronics" put out to the curbsides often enough. Opportunity right there in front of one's face. Ok. Enough said. Thank you Kandroid96 for your evaluations and input on the forum.
Here to learn like everybody else
