Oscar is giving me a different answer every time. Tearing down my old dead towers
Cd drives have 2 boards on them the upper is easy but I don't know if the lower is still considered the same. Pic attached with 2 of the lower sections. One I removed shielding of the port that wasn't soldered on.

I would go high peripheral on those.
Tab corner ICs and gold pins

Gemcutter.
I use Google lense along with O.S.C.A.R. to help in
board identification.
Also. Listen to the short videos the boardsort escrap
price list provides along with pictures. Those videos
have a lot of information in them.
But. You got to listen to them over and over. You can't absorb all that
information immediately. Do your homework.
There's a wealth of information in those videos. But you got
to put quality time in listening to every word being said.
Also. Compare one video against another to evaluate a board.
For myself. I sat down and listen to those videos with a multitude of boards for hours. Using O.S.C.A.R. ,Google lense , boardsort videos. Gets me pretty far on identification.
Also. One can enter PCB part numbers from the board itself. A google search can help with that also. But. And a big but. You have to be able to discern a PCB part number from a lot number. Date number. Revision number. Lot number.
I worked in manufacturing for years. So. I am familiar with board ID. Every number on those boards are important. The right number will get you the board ID.
Do your homework.
Respectfully and good luck.

Cat is right again. use the source photos and videos and Oscar first.
But when you find a conflict with Oscar, always feel free to post here in one of the more senior users would direct you

I definitely do high peripheral in both of those two boards without a doubt given their extreme lightweight and population. You have no issue there.
