Preparing my first box to send in. New to boards being anything but shred at my local yard so glad I found this! Been studying and reading all the forums getting a pretty good idea on how to sort. Playing with Oscar on some stuff. Will mostly be sending in hi and low peripheral along with various motherboards and other computer boards.

There's some that just don't feel right from what Oscar called them so I've put them in the lower class just to be safe. If they do fit the higher will boardsort upgrade them automatically? I know I've read alot about things being downgraded.
Thanks from Montana

This is what I have heard (actually read here on the message board), but I've never had it happen to me. Everything I've sent in has been paid out exactly as the quote stated. I have thought about putting some boards in a lower class and hoped they would be upgraded, but that is for the next shipment.

if you’re sending in hundreds of pounds, I would not expect Boardsort check every single piece. I typically will place boards that I’m unsure about into a separate box and label it to make it clear that these items need to be checked. depending on how much of that there is, I may add the weight to the grade I know it will clear just be sure to notate that so Boardsort knows to take the weight off if they upgrade or downgrade.

That’s the way to do it.
