New here and I'm sure it has been answered but I just want to be sure if I need to take these off of motherboards & clean finger cards before shipping.
1. Screws from VGA ports etc
2. Metallic shroud pieces over usb/audio ports
3. Hard to tell from pic, but that is a metal heatsink sitting on a chip that seems tightly bound.. ok to leave on or do i need heat gun or something?
3b. Same as 3 but on a clean gold finger card
4 & 4b. Back support brackets on back side of motherboard. 4b is example from laptop
5. Cpu holder. I think is ok to leave on, but this one had to come off to get heatsink bracket off. But I could be wrong
6(&4b) This came from a laptop, but has integrated cpu with no bga. Would this be considered laptop or integrated board?

5 don’t remove that.

4 remove those. You don’t have to most of the time but if your wrong and it stays in… down down down goes the … nm, good song
If 5 comes off removing 4 so be it some designs suck. You lost 12 cents, move on… seriously.

3 that’s cap leave it alone

2/1 ignore them
