telco (you can probably remove the 386 and 387 chips for 386/486 class) those ceramics are are most likely in RC-PGA sockets. BUT, that's not a guarantee. If you see black plastic between the ceramic and the green they're socketed and can be removed

RC-PGA sockets are very strong grip sockets. Use a Number 1 or Number 2 screwdriver initially to GENTLY gently loosen the corners, cross from each other. eventually you'll be able to pull them up by hand then.
Top board, most/all soldered, forget it. middle, see in line statement bottom. definitely socketed
