Bogie2929,

No problem with the pictures. This is what the forum is for. For every picture you post is one more answer for someone else with the same question!

The following boards (referenced by the filename) are going to be Telecom ($4.00/lb):

IMG_8595.jpg
IMG_8602.jpg (front)
IMG_8603.jpg (back)

As you can see in the pictures the surface area is highly populated with IC chips and there are very little to no resistors, capacitors or transformers on the boards. They also have connectors that hold a nice array of gold pins. That is why these boards are considered Telecom.

The remaining boards are considered Peripheral Grade ($1.40/lb):

IMG_8594.jpg
IMG_8596.jpg
IMG_8598.jpg

These boards are considered Peripheral grade because of the lack of IC population with respect to the surface area. In fact a few of the boards may be midgrade because they are so lightly populated, particularly the little blue one and the top two of the sony boards in IMG_8596.jpg.

Thanks for the look!

I see that now, thank you. The Sony boards are good to go into the Peripheral Board grade.

Here is what I see in the above pictures as referenced by the file names:

IMG_8586(87,88).jpg = Peripheral Grade ($1.40/lb at the time of this post)

IMG_8607.jpg= Peripheral Grade

IMG_8605(06).jpg = Smaller Board is Peripheral, the larger board is a CD/DVD Rom board ($2.95/lb at the time of this post).

IMG_8601.jpg = Peripheral Grade

IMG_8604.jpg = Peripheral Grade

IMG_8597.jpg = Peripheral Grade

IMG_8585.jpg = Peripheral Grade (even though it is technically a connector end, it is worthy of the $1.40/lb grade)

IMG_8594.jpg = Peripheral Grade (even though it is a technically connector end, it is worthy of the $1.40/lb grade)

IMG_8599.jpg = Smaller board is a Mid-Grade board ($0.35/lb). The larger board is Peripheral Grade.

Thank you for the look!
