No. looks like an early folding array style design or some sort of massive parallel riser for multi CPU?
Or possibly a large test unit?

I'm way out of the left here but I'd say multi socket or possibly backplane.
MLS may have an idea as well.
What's it from? I've seen some strange and proprietary custom stuff in my time but have never come across one of these. Whatever it is it's for a lot of CPUs.

I'm kinda lost on this one too... never seen anything quit like it before... A chip array of some sort, maybe for engineering/testing.... that's really just a guess though. I would say that is one to check with chris.
