Low Dos,

On his number 2 picture, I have a board just about like that maybe a few more ic chips on it but down both sides it has gold strips running the length of the board. Would that be a prefreial board or something else?

Thanks

2 is an I/O switch controller from a rack server unit. Peripheral vs telco depends on the IC, CPU, and controller (flatpack) population mainly but some other factors as well, such as board material and type.

If 2 were a sandwich board and not a wood-polymer fibre board it would make telco.
