 Post subject: Slot Processor?

I recently got some old Laptops and they all have Intel i386 sx processors. They look like the picture below. Are they slot processors or something else? The i386 sx is basically an ic chip.

That board would go into the Telecom grade.

The 386 chip is a fiber chip (not to be confused with gold top/bottom 386/486 ceramics) which if removed would in fact be an IC chip. Leave the board as is and sell as Telecom for the optimum return.
