I have some little chunky boards piling up and, while the prices are currently the same, would like to understand the finer differences between low and mid grade boards and sort them correctly.
Boards 1 and 2 are Green/Brown, not fully Brown. Board 1 is very noticeably brittle, and broke when removing the aluminum heat sinks. Board 2 held up, but still seems on the brittle side. Board 3 is Green/Green and even has a few chips on it, but is still so junky. Could someone help me understand the factors that might make any of these boards definitely Low or Mid?

Also, from what I understand, removing anything from these boards is more an exercise in salvaging components that are more valuable separated than the going price of Low or Mid boards than it is an exercise in potentially upgrading. So any recommendations on what might be worth the effort to remove from these boards? I think some things would be difficult to remove without disintegrating the boards...

low grade across the board as far as I would sort.

If you removed a majority of everything from the green board you could have midgrade but that seems silly.

If you want to pull anything it's up to you but you can pull pretty much anything you want based on what you can get for the stuff you pull.

Let me see if I can find a post I saw recently . . .

It was this post. So maybe the green/green is closer to midgrade than I was thinking. I just go low grade when there's that much heavy stuff.
