dad took these apart so i'm not sure what they came out of. Maybe Tv, maybe computer monitor? Need help grading please. bonus points if you can help me understand the why. I have read your stuff and watched the videos, still not real sure as i'm learning names of stuff.

Here is what i don't get about these - (1,3&4) several have smaller black chips - are those still 'chips' in terms of counting/population or is it a different kind of chip?

#2 i think has chip under the metal plate, but i'm not sure how to get it off.

none of these have anything on the back.

Pull those wire ends.

1/3 high peripheral

4 low peripheral at least, might be okay in high

On 2, get a small flathead (or similar) to press into a corner (or if there's a break in the solder) to get under the shield and pry up or use a pair of cutters to crimp into a corner and pry up. Try to be careful as you do this as there should be higher value components under there that benefit from having shielding. If the antennae in the corners of the board are steel, remove those while you're at it and then repost a picture
