What category would the cpu go under, has gold pins on bottom. IC is ceramic and has silver pins on the adapter board. Should I remove the IC and toss it in with regular IC or does the board adapter put it in another category? Thanks for the help in advance

CPU will probably fall into class Foreign Gold cap.

The ceramic IC, does it have a gold cap bottom? Check the bottom ...it is soldered in, correct?
More than likely you'll have to remove it from the board. Tiny cut off nippers or a sharp razor blade; scoring the legs on the board, will remove that chip easily ...but before you do, let's wait for some other opinion's

Welcome. CPUs have multiple classes here.
I just got a bunch of these.
Agree with the assesment re the CPU.
I kept the no gold ceramics on the boards and sent in whole boards as high tele. with no visible gold I figured regular IC and was not sure that that would qualify as IC with that much fiber.
