One of these has an led on 2 wire. Remove? I knw ribbon wire and faceplates take off.

I think cleaning boards of known junk. Then orderly posting front and back phtos of each individual board including a label. Is the best approach to getting a quick and accurate evaluation.
Here to learn like everybody else.

remove all the wires, top board, the square one goes as telco, the ones with the LPT ports, the rectangle ones will need the plastic removed but if the LPT ports have gold pins it might go as a back plane board.

Agree with Austin, note the "plastic" is the aluminum faceplate, you'll need to remove the standoff screws.
